Overcoming the bosses requires a keen sense of strategy, so strengthen your character with purpose or suffer a swift end to your journey.
Food in Core Keeper has two main purposes – keeping you alive by restoring HP and reducing hunger and giving you helpful perks like Em excesso armor or the ability to glow.
Roots pelo longer continue spawning in explored areas in the crystal biome. Environmental objects will no longer continue to spawn right next to the world edge. Fixed an issue where objects would not be rendered after the player was killed by a hydra boss.
Once you feel that you have solid equipment, you're going to want to start hunting for Glurch. Glurch is the first boss; it is a giant slime that is constantly jumping in place. You'll have to explore the area around the Core and listen for a slamming sound.
Buffs/Debuffs: All of your buffs and debuffs will be shown below the Hunger bar. You can put your mouse over a buff or debuff to see what it does.
Screenshot by Bonus Action There are two main challenges for this boss fight – the massive damage dealt by Glurch’s leaping attack and the slowing effect of the slime on the ground. To slow Glurch down and deal some damage, we recommend building plenty of wooden traps to drop as you flee from his attacks.
Screenshot by Bonus Action Once you have a Cooking Pot, you just need to put two ingredients in the available slots. You will need something in both spaces, even if it’s just one mushroom in each slot.
Not only that, but if you really start branching out, it might be a good idea to make smaller bases outside of your main base with beds of their own. That way you can quickly recharge when you’re far from home, and give yourself another respawn point should you run into trouble.
You might also want to let the naturally occurring environment give you a little help along the way. Some resources — such as glow tulips or even little clouds of fireflies — can be just as useful when they’re left alone to help light your path.
I may be in a cave with dirt walls lit only by torchlight, but in that cave I've got a little farm growing Core Keeper Gameplay lovely, chunky vegetables and a cooking pot where I can combine them for yummy meals. These three statues represent the first three bosses that you'll have to take on: Glurch, Ghorm, and Malugaz. Before we worry about them, though, we'll want to start cleaning up the immediate area.
